forced landed a Jet at nite on aug. 11, 1953 due to encountering bad weather ..landed safely. plane was able to take off about a week later after the grass runway firmed up and the storm passed. We were enroute from Denver col. to perrin air base in texas. Our home base was McCord a, b. in Tacoma Washington. Pilot domenick marrara Jr. now in west Virginia, and crew member Robert Grandchamp in Maine, met each other for the first time since the incident, in 2010. Does anyone remember ????
