I have had 3 experiences with Duncan Regional Hospital. All three began in the ER; once I was transferred to another hospital that specialized in the area dealing with my issue, once I was released and once I was kept overnight for treatment. I was always well taken care of by courteous people. They always explained every procedure and decision and would take time to answer questions and listen to my concerns. I am thankful to have them here where we can receive help close at hand.
I delivered my baby last month in the Birth Center. Despite being extremely upset with one of the anesthesiologists for letting my epidural run out while I was in labor, after begging for more and literally feeling everything when I delivered my baby, I'm still giving 5 stars because the nurses and lactation consultants in the birth center were so wonderful. Tiffany, Shelbie, Jeanine, and Paula went above and beyond to make me comfortable and help me with my newborn. They didn't act like it was their job, they acted like they truly cared about me. I would have been absolutely lost without them.
Cannot speak for the rest of the hospital, but I had to go to the ER and every single one of them, nurses, the doctor, x-ray tech, support staff, etc. gave me the best care and attentiveness. Not sure if it makes a difference, but it was a late weeknight. I couldn't thank them enough for such great care and compassion. Highly recommend their emergency services!

We appreciated the care and sincere kindness that was given to my aunt. It was wonderful from the ambulance ride, to the emergency room and then to the third floor. So many were involved in her treatment, but a special thanks to Aley, Dr. Huddleston and Dr. Peterson.
The "Excellent Top Notch," care given to my father during his emergency experience, and then to ICU, was absolutely the best care he has ever received anywhere. They CARED! They were KIND! They were ATTENTIVE! t The Doctor came through for his rounds on time. I can not stress hard enough that Duncan Regional Hospital is a highly Qualified and Committed to Caring for the people they serve. They truly begin the healing process by CARING FIRST. I personally want to thank all the Nurses in I.C.U. from 4/29/16 to 5/3/16, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, and Olga, you guys truly represent the standard of nursing, it begins with CARE and CARE "You DID!" thank you so much.
