Nice quiet spot, good amount of parking, clean restrooms. Park is clean and no broken equipment.
Kiddie Land is the exact same as it was when I was a kid, much like the price to get into the pool.
The tar situation at the pool needs to be fixed. It ruins bathing suits and floats, and that costs more than $.50 per kid. That's the only reason for the three star review.
We went to the pool and it's only $.50 for kids and $1.00 for adults. Yes, they use tar to fix the cracks in the bottom of the pool, making for a messy situation all over the place... but it was $.50 to get in. Don't bring your nice floats because they will get tar on them.
Nice little park. We stopped here for a picnic lunch while on a driving tour of southern Oklahoma. Lots of shady places with picnic tables. The train museum and displays are interesting. Bathrooms were clean.
It's like a time machine to visit the park overall as it hasn't changed, but I don't think that's a bad thing.
Great place for families to go with children and visit for hours. Great place to have a birthday party or other family gatherings. It's a great area to take walks or meat sit under the huge shade trees. There's picnic tables and across from the park outs a large. gazebo with picnic tables. A museum is across the park and a historic train. Kiddie Land is right next to it, too. Nice playground equipment and just a nice place to be.
Nice place for the family to hang out. I also got some really neat pictures up by the water fountain.
